We believe that our program should involve a balance of individual and group experiences and indoor and outdoor activities, to promote awareness of themselves and the world we live in. This will include the use of man made, natural and manufactured materials.
We aim to provide a high quality educational program, rich in learning opportunities, designed to suit each individual child and encourage the growth and development of their social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills. They will develop creativity and self-expression through art, language, dramatic play and music. The emphasis is on the process of doing and creating, not the end result.
Our program is structured but also allows flexibility, to allow children to extend and experience in their own safe network. We have divided our program into four learning frames, Cognitive, Social/Emotional, Physical/Music and Language/Self-expression. These allow staff and children to experience a diverse range of learning areas that will enhance and develop the necessary skills to progress through the learning stages of life. |
